5 tips to cook the perfect spaghetti cream, recipe included!

My friends and I love to cook, it is one of the activities that we most enjoy doing together. Last Saturday I invited my three best friends over to my house to cook.

The menu included a rich salad as a starter, made with apples, figs, and walnuts. As a main course, we prepared creamy spaghetti with chipotle and for dessert, we made a passion fruit cheesecake without an oven.

Everything was going great, the smells of the dishes invaded the kitchen and whet our appetite. We sat down to eat the salad first, it was delicious with a honey mustard dressing.

Then we went to the main dish and this is where before serving the spaghetti, my friend who had prepared it apologized because the cream was cut and it was a little salty.

We tried it and, although it was a bit salty, it had a delicious flavor. During the meal, I gave my friend some tips so that she always has the perfect spaghetti with cream.

If you would like to learn how to cook delicious spaghetti with a creamy sauce, I am sharing the tips I gave her, they work perfectly!

  1. So that the dish tastes good but is not salty, season the pasta with cooking water and again add salt before serving the spaghetti when it has been incorporated into the sauce.
  2. Keep the sauce from cutting by keeping the cream at room temperature for 15 minutes before adding it to the pot. It won’t cut easily if it’s at room temperature.
  3. Reduce the heat of the sauce before adding the cream; in this way you reduce the heat shock, preventing the sauce from separating.
  4. Cook the spaghetti until it is “al dente”If you cook the pasta completely before mixing it with the sauce, the sauce will break down and be battered. The pasta should finish cooking in the heat of the cream.
  5. Reserve a cup of the pasta cooking water to give the sauce more flavor and consistency; this is because it is already seasoned and contains the starch from the spaghetti.

With these simple tips, your cream spaghetti will be succulent.
